So it was back to the drawing board for me, having always made stocking stitch hats. I now do fisherman's rib and make them as long as possible. It is amazing how all the little tasks of living chip away at the time you want to devote to hobbies. We all have only 24 hours in a day. It is precious time that you can never get back! I understand your dilemma. :-)Retired Knitterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13662288640032813770noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7276266847729349745.post-82210232655926343612018-07-01T22:49:44.974+01:002018-07-01T22:49:44.974+01:00Great hat pattern, people will be nice and cosy in...Great hat pattern, people will be nice and cosy in the colder months wearing these.Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13863899802782756191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7276266847729349745.post-49356053932150960872018-07-01T18:59:10.546+01:002018-07-01T18:59:10.546+01:00Last winter I knitted 18 hats for a local charity ...Last winter I knitted 18 hats for a local charity which supports the homeless in Chester and North Wales and also refugees abroad. The charity was thrilled to get them and I used up a lot of my stash.busybusybeejayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04570020362062932692noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7276266847729349745.post-8459161438495409102018-07-01T15:30:37.499+01:002018-07-01T15:30:37.499+01:00And you still make hats!
